As his mother I generally understand most of his vocabulary, but most people probably wouldn't. The good news is that he is improving.
Here's what he calls all of us:
Dad: "Da-ee"
Mom: "Mum"
Afton: "Girl"
(we tried just an 'aaafff", but he settled on girl instead)
Madelyn: "Mei"
(the only problem here is that Mei no longer wants to be called Mei, she's 'Mad a win')
Ben: "Do"
(I think he was trying to say Ben, but it came out as 'Do", so we decided we'll just start calling him 'dude" and he thinks it's pretty funny.)
Ethan: "Bay-ee"
The speech therapist recommended that we keep accurate notes on progress. She thinks he'll probably have spurts where he gains a lot and then slows down. I will say we've seen an improvement since we have started really working with him and since adding fish oil to his diet.

Yay, "dude!".
Sorry I haven't called you yet! I haven't forgotten...we've all been a little under the weather. I'll try and get to you this week. Life should be a little slow this week, since the kids are off school. Glad you are seeing progress and that the fish oil seems to be working.
