A Rare Day

It is a rare day at our house when I let the kids create a craft. Today I had 3 milk boxes-
Ben wanted to make a Boat. Mei followed but added in a bridge with her boat. Afton wanted to make a treasure box.  Then in the end we ended with 3 boats, a river and a few necklaces.
Mei started to make a necklace for Daddy, then Afton pointed out that boys don't wear necklaces. So she made two for mommy.

A few new phrases for Ben:
"Hi Mom" (and daddy, Mei, Girl and Baby)
" help glue"
Ben has been diagnosed as having a severe language delay and apraxia. We have a long road ahead of us, but he's making progress!

Have you read the book called "Not a Box" ? It is really cute and this little box play reminded me of it.

What is apraxia? And what a fun mom to let your kids do crafts!
